If you move to Pune, the hardest thing is getting a grip of the language. Words like, "full hawa", "awraa" or "aai chya gavat!" are commonly used there.

So, if you feel like an outsider because you don’t know the eccentric yet fascinating language of this city, just ride through the city to enlighten yourself.

Bade Moochwale, a group from Pune have created street art with all these funny, weird words, which are sure to enhance your vocabulary.

The group was founded by Abinav Kafare along with various artists and professionals, who are involved in wall art, product design, illustration, photography & social events.

Walk up the streets of Sinhagad road, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) campus, SM Joshi Road and you will find the colourful and artistic doodles across the walls.

The phrases simply define the city's medium of communication, which is quite different from other cities. The idea is to bring happiness through the medium of art, says Abhinav.

Madhura Joshi, another member of the team told,

They enjoy it, admire it, and have a hearty laugh. They respect the efforts.

"Our artworks are based on slangs used by the locals here. The idea is to create something that the passers-by can relate to and be a part of," adds Madhura.

Really! What an awesome way to popularise the local lingo!
