More than 16 trains have been cancelled from Nagpur from dates April 5 to April 20. The train services have been stopped after the closing platform number 2 at Nagpur railway station for the purpose of washable apron repairs had an effect on the train movement.
The train will also be affected because of non-interlocking, third line and yard remodeling works that is to be executed at the Bhusawal station at the Central Railway zone, as per Nagpur Central Railway.
The course of following trains has been altered for the next few days.
Mail/express trains 22111/22112 Bhusawal-Nagpur (tri-weekly) and 22123/22124 Ajni-Pune-Ajni weekly express which was scheduled to leave from Ajni on April 16 and from Pune on April 19 have been cancelled. Another train, 11417/11418 Pune-Nagpur-Pune Hamsafar Express which was to run on April 18 and 19, has been cancelled.
The following passenger trains scheduled to run between April 6 to April 20 have been withdrawn - 51285/51286 Bhusawal-Nagpur-Bhusawal, 51197/51198 Bhusawal-Wardha-Bhusawal, 51183/51184 Bhusawal-Narkhed-Bhusawal, 51151/51152 Amravati-Narkhed-Amravati, and 51195/51196 Wardha-Ballarshah-Wardha.
Amongst the trains scheduled to run on April 18, three express trains have been diverted from their routes. These trains are - 18501 Vishakapattnam-Gandhidham which will now move via Akola, Khandwa, Itarsi, and Bhopal; 12844 Ahmedabad-Puri will now pass through Baroda, Ujjain, Bhopal, Itarsi and 12843 Puri-Ahmedabad will pass through the same route.
The repair works will see 12405 Bhusawal-Nizamuddin Gondwana Express terminated for a short span. This train will run from Nagpur to Nizamuddin between April 7 to April 16. Whereas, train number 12406 Nizamuddin-Bhusawal will run till Nagpur upto April 14.
