How many times have we heard the line ‘Yaar, kuch karna hai life mein!’ from our friends who have had the most out-of-the-box ideas for business. We’ve all had a good handful of friends who’ve muttered this line sometime or the other around you and then heaved a pensive sigh.

While a lot of these people give up on their ideas with the fear of failure, there are those few who dare to go achieve it. These young minds and even old, take a step forward in making their ideas come to reality. They either step out cautiously, charting out every course of their action or they jump in full swing irrespective of the risk. To each their own, they say.

But the approach is the least factoring cause of how well a business does. According to Bloomberg, 8 out of 10 entrepreneurs who start a business end up failing within the first 18 months. That’s a serious 80 percent!

With India being one of the fastest growing economies, it is indeed disheartening to see many of these potential-holding businesses crash and burn in its early stages. These entrepreneurs on the hand are perplexed with the question ‘what went wrong’ and the quest to find the answer dampens their spirits. The failed scenario further demotivates the ones who are on the verge of starting out their businesses. Call it a vicious cycle, but that is what it is.

Taking this acute situation into account, Lemon School of Entrepreneurship have organised a 1-day seminar to address the situation. The workshop is stepping stone towards finding a fix to the circumstances that factor the failing business.

Prominent entrepreneurs and mentors such as Deepak Menaria, Mukesh Ashar, Vishal Chawda etc. of who own some successful businesses will preside over the workshop and talk in depth about the reasons of why a business fails. The seminar will be followed by a question and answer session.
