Road Mishap Kills IIM Nagpur Student

Students were going for a picnic at Pench National Park when the mishap happened.

In a tragic incident on Sunday, a student from the Indian Institute of Management was killed in a road mishap. A group of six students including the deceased were reportedly heading towards Pench National Park when the their car collided with a truck.

The deceased Durgesh Chauhan (26), a resident of Delhi, was driving the car and died on the spot, while others are injured. According to a statement published in The Indian Express, “The students were first year PGP students who were on their way to a picnic spot located 15 kms from Nagpur in the early hours of morning, when they met with a fatal road accident as the car they were traveling in, hit a truck. While one student lost his life, the others have been rushed to a nearby civil hospital and we are awaiting more details”.

Farther investigation is underway.
