HCL Technologies To Start Business Operations In Nagpur

After the Dassault-Reliance plant, HCL  Technologies Limited is all set to start its operations in Nagpur. It has the capacity of 2,000 people. The HCL Technologies will start its business in Nagpur from April 2018.

Senior vice president of HCL Technologies Sanjay Gupta informed about that the training of the first batch of the workforce is currently in progress. 

While addressing the media during the HCL Foundation CSR Symposium on 'Socio-Economic Developmental Challenges and Solutions', Gupta informed about the unique Early Career Programme (ECP) for 10+2 passed students who are financially poor.

“We are excited to start out operations in Nagpur. By this initiative we aim to create 2,000 jobs in the city, creating a sustainable pipeline of local talent," the Startup World quoted Gupta.

For the 50–acre Nagpur campus, recruitments will start by January 2018, at MIHAN and around 2,000 jobs will be offered.

“HCL has in the past 18 months started operations in Madurai in September, Lucknow in October and Nagpur will be the third in its expansion plan in small towns,” Gupta added

The program will give 12 months training to the students and later absorbed by the company. A similar batch of the trainee is all set to commence at HCL Lucknow campus from May 1. He assured that this initiative will be implemented on other campuses as well.
