Central India’s Biggest Digital Expo COMP-Ex25 2017 Kick Started

VCDWA has been organizing COMP-EX from last 25 years and has made this one of the biggest computer expos in India

In the era of Make in India Digital, central India witnessed the most happening and biggest digital expo CPMP-Ex25 2017. Like every year this year also Vidarbha Computer & Media Dealers Welfare Association-VCMDWA had come up with one of the biggest digital expos in India, which commenced on 12th January..

Day one of the much awaited digital expo COMP-Ex25 2017 was kick started with the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Brijesh Dixit, Chairman & Managing Director, Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd and The Guest of Honour Mr. Sonu Kewalramani, Super Distributor, Intex Mobile.

After lighting the traditional lamp, Mr. Brijesh Dixit formally inaugurated the 25th edition of COMP-Ex25 2017. Also present on the dais were the office bearers of VCMDWA Mr. Rajesh Saboo, President, Mr. Dinesh Naidu, Secretary and Mr. Vinay Dhamadhikari, Vice President, Mr. Prashant Bulbule, Treasurer and Mr. Ranjit Umate, Joint Secretary.

While addressing the gathering Mr. Brijesh Dixit commended VCMDWA members for organizing the event for 25 long years. He stated that the generation has changed and COMP-EX has become an integral part of Nagpur and has actually become the DNA of the Orange City.

IT extravaganza COMP-EX has initiated number of programs under its CSR initiative and commitment towards the relevant students’ groups.

COMP-EX has Interesting daily activities, under the aegis of ‘Nagpur Next’ initiative, which is IT Based Project Competition’ for college students. MIT Pune TBI -Technology business Incubator team of 4 members are visiting at Comp-Ex 25 at Nagpur to scout some of the potential projects as per our area of interest. They may support by funding the standout idea or project, if found to have high potential.

Various vendors from all over India have participated in the COMP-EX 2017.  In this Silver Jubilee year of COMP-EX, there are total 70 stalls in the expo which include sixteen huge pavilions and sixty regular stalls.

VCDWA has been organizing COMP-EX from last 25 years and has made this one of the biggest computer expos in India. COMP-EX 2017 had commenced from 12th January at Kasturchand Park and it will conclude on 16th January. Daily timings for visitors at COMP-EX is from 12.00 noon to 9 pm.

In the silver jubilee year, this year VCMDWA has booked the entire Kasturchand Park to have enough movement space for visitors and also to provide ample and free parking space for vehicles. The event arrangements are comprehensive with proper layout plan for domes housing stall and pavilions, huge parking bays and cafeteria. Visitors can move freely in the aisles and can have access and interaction with stall people to know about various products on display regarding the services, features and working of the latest technology based products.

While Intex Mobile is the sponsor of COMP-EX 2017, Government of Maharashtra and Nagpur Metro Rail has also joined hands with COMP-EX-25 to support the event, showcase the people oriented schemes and interact with people.
