A few days ago, we told you how Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor accepted Nitin Gadkari's invitation to visit Nagpur.

It was stated that the visit had no political angle attached to it as Kejriwal wanted to study some projects that are being implemented in the city.

It was also reported that Kejriwal would be an official state guest for 24 hours from 27th to 28th January.

Kejriwal was expected to get a first-hand information about the 24X7 water supply project, green buses on ethanol, Metro Rail project and also the electric taxis and charging stations.

But it looks like Kejriwal will not be visiting Nagpur, anytime soon. The AAP city unit was informed about the development without any reason, two days ago.

"We were only informed that the visit would happen a week or ten days later," Devendra Wankhade, a city AAP functionary told TOI.

Kejriwal's visit was seen as an important one considering that he's a staunch critic of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hence, this could've been a great opportunity to endorse some good work done by BJP-led NMC.

In addition to Kejriwal, Nirmala Sitaraman, India's defence minister also cancelled her plans to visit Nagpur. Sitaraman was invited to inaugurate Bharatiya Stree Shakti, an RSS women organisation's national convention on Saturday.
