According to an annual World Happiness Report Norway is the happiest country on Earth, while the wealthiest - USA - is far below.
With its amazing public services and political stability, Norway got the title of being the happiest country on earth.
Other countries who grabbed top positions on the list are Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland. Those at the bottom include the Middle East and North Africa and five were in sub-Saharan Africa.
The World Happiness Report is measured by social factors alongside economic data. Norway's plummeting oil prices helped it surge ahead in competition.
The report finds that the economic factor is a certain contributor to achieving social cohesion and overall happiness. The ten bottom spots of the list contain some of the world's poorest countries - Yemen, South Sudan, Liberia, Guinea, Togo, Rwanda, Syria, Tanzania, Burundi and the Central African Republic with happiness levels averaging near approximately 3 out of ten.
