If opportunity doesn’t knock, build yourself a door. Look for good in everything even if some days you have to look harder. Why abide by the terms and conditions when happiness can be experienced without rulebooks?
Here is why today we need our Dead Poets Society!
Finding your voice!
Every person battles the social pressures of ‘expectations’. We are taught to compose music for the songs whose lyrics are written by others. Hence, we must abide by Mr.Keating’s lesson and, “You must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all”.
For nobody has a monopoly on good ideas!
There is only one thing stronger than all the armies of the world, and that is an idea whose time has come. And on the same lines, Mr.Keating says,
For there exists a place called “out of the box”
Struggles can be a little more than the search for white collared jobs, battle for placements or temporary sad times which make us their victims. For neglected is the art which teaches you the worth and words and emotions – the art of poetry!
For the talks of independence and freedom so occupy our minds that we ignore the blessings of dreams.
When the search for peace ends, you realize that the journey was actually a tour of your thoughts!
For he tells you where to look but does not shackle your vision by telling you what to see.
You might be the soul blessed with a guiding North Star – The Teacher!
For the four walls of classroom must teach you more than textbooks do!
What needs to be taught is the application of the printed and mugged words.
For when your creativity needs nutrition!
For you only live once.
