When it comes to philantrophy in Bollywood, it is always Vivek Oberoi who takes some really thoughtful steps. The Bollywood actor had recently introduced a project called Karrm, which helps people to afford a decent house in the city.
Taking this noble cause to another level, Vivek gifted a house to an acid attack survivor Lalita Bansi on her wedding.

According to media reports, Vivek had met Lalita at a function in March, where he came to know that Lalita was homeless. The 40-year-old actor promised her that he will gift her house in his affordable housing project, Karrm.
That’s not all but the 'Saathiya' actor who was shooting in Serbia came back to Indian recently and standing on his words he not only attend Lalita’s wedding but also gifted her, her new house key!
Vivek had earlier donated 25 flats to Sukma martyrs under his construction project.

Vivek said, "Lalita is a true hero because she has given a new hope to thousands of acid attack survivors to live their life like a normal human being."
25-year-old acid attack survivor Lalita tied the knot with Ravi Shankar Singh (27), a CCTV operator from Malad working at D’ Silva Technical College, Dadar.
Talking to thehindu Ravi Shankar told about his love story with Lalita, “Lalita had accidentally dialed my number about three months ago. I then called her back after 15 days. We spoke and I fell in love with her voice. Our conversations continued on a daily basis and in the process, I proposed to her”.
However, Lalita in her initial conversation with Singh told him that she is an acid attack survivor.
“But I told her I was in love with her and would like to get married. Many couples fall in love with their partners’ face and eventually get divorced. With Ms. Bansi, I am not concerned about her face. She is a sweet person. I wish god blessed us for a lifetime,” Singh added.
