Following that in February 2014 the The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Bill was proposed in Rajya Sabha.
On December 2, the eve of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the entire country was looking at Rajya Sabha in hopeful anticipation that it would passed the bill.
