Amid the news of suicides of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade, comes another news that serves more as a gut punch.

HBO released a trailer of Robin William’s documentary, ‘Robin William: Come Inside My Mind’ on Friday. The documentary is produced by Alex Gibney and Shirel Kozak that hits the small screen on July 16.

The trailer consists of interviews with the legendary actor, who committed suicide on August 11, 2014. The trailer also features actor’s son Zak Williams who speaks affectionately about the actor and comedy giants including Shirel Kozak and Billy Crystal providing their experiences with the actor.

“My father didn’t always feel he was succeeding, but he was the most successful person I know,” Zak Williams says.

Back in 2014, an autopsy report revealed that the actor had a progressive brain disease called Diffuse Lewy Body Dementia, in which the symptoms worsen over time. The disease being the third most common cause of dementia. The information was disclosed by the actor’s widowed wife Susan Williams while talking to People’s Magazine in 2015. She also disclosed that the actor experienced unexplained mental symptoms in the year that he died.

The trailer leaves us with a feeling that how this genius comedian who said, “Stand-up is survival, for me its jazz, that’s what I have to do” was actually struggling to keep up with his own mind, once the audiences went home.
