Potterheads have something really exciting to look forward to. No, the latest edition of Nimbus is not in the market, it’s a river cruise across river Thames.
The cruise trip will take Potterheads to all the major locations where the film was shot. 4 Privet Drive, Warner Bros Studio, the Great Hall. Yes, we are freaking out too!
The "Harry Potter Magic Cruise Itinerary" starts at in London’s Stafford Hotel with cream tea. Very very English! The passengers are then welcomed on the cruise with some champagne and after a Hogwarts inspired dinner, the 7 day magical journey begins.
This extravagant magical experience, however, comes at a price that not everyone can afford, $4,190.
The 7-day cruise not only explores historical properties like the Windsor Castle or Henry VIII’s Tudor Palace but also takes the passengers to the place where Harry first meets Buckbeak in The Prisoner of Azkaban, Virginia Water.
That’s not all, the cruisers would also be driven to Picket Post Close, the place that doubled as 4 Privet Drive in The Philosopher’s Stone. The fans will also get to sit in the Great Hall and would get to climb down the main staircase at the 16th century Oxford's Christ Church College.
What Harry Potter experience will be complete without a visit to the Warner Bros studios! Potterheads will get to walk through the original Harry Potter sets and have a look at all the props used in the films. Just imagine!
The "Harry Potter Magic Cruise Itinerary" will have 2 sailings, one from 5th to 11th August and the second one from 19th to 25th August.
