The usually composed Sherlock Holmes appears very harried and distressed and we have been waiting more than long enough to know why!
Filming for Season 4 of the BBC series Sherlock began this April, and some pictures from the shooting have made their way into the interwebs.
Benedict Cumberbatch appears to have embraced some grunge, or is it because of an especially unsettling case involving Watson maybe?
Dr Watson and Mary are new parents, but there have also been plenty of hints flying around that their bliss might be short-lived.
Toby Jones has been roped in to play “one of Doyle’s finest villains” this season. The actor, best known to audiences worldwide for his role as Arnim Zola in the Captain America movies and for voicing Dobby in the Harry Potter films, has confirmed that he will definitely play a “baddie”, filling the vacuum that has been left by the inimitable Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott).
‘The Abominable Bride’, the show’s Christmas special aired earlier this year, giving fans hope that the new season might hit screens soon. That, however, didn’t happen. Insisting on the show’s commitment to quality, producers Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat said, “If people have to wait two years, they’ll have to wait two years.” It is expected that the fourth season will premiere in January 2017.
Meanwhile, all we can do is feast our eyes on these pictures and watch previous seasons. Cumberbitches, however, only have to wait till November this year to watch the stupendous Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel’s Doctor Strange!
