Since the unfortunate Uri attack and then the surgical strike, Indian Government had banned Pakistani actors, singers, and technicians from working in Indian films. In the past few months though, things have settled down somewhat.

Talking to indianexpress Irrfan Khan said, “I was told that she (Saba Qamar) has applied for the visa and she will be arriving soon, I am not sure when she will come, but she is expected to be here soon!”

However, unlike Saba, Mahira Khan couldn’t make to come to India for the promotions of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, although she always stated how bad she feels that she cannot be a part of Raees’s promotion as it was her first Indian film.

If Saba comes to India to promote the film, it will be a great sigh of relied for the people from India and Pakistan as they will be able to see their favourite artists again.

Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan is busy promoting film alone.

Hindi Medium, which was supposed to release on May 12, will now release on May 19, 2017.
