Icon of the early mobile phone era, the illustrious Nokia 3310 is coming back at this year's Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to kick off later this month and make no mistake, the 90’s kids surely couldn’t care less about all the smartphones and iPhones that will be exhibited there.
Small, firm, easy to grip, hard to destroy, and the most popular phone in history, the 3310 handset will literally steal the show at the MWC 2017.
After reappearing at the MWC 2017, the 3310 handset will soon be available for purchase, around the world. The reports say that the company which now owns the rights of the Nokia brand has put a price tag of 59 Euros on the handset, which means it will be just over Rs 4000 in India. Not a bad price, right?!
It’s not yet confirmed what will be the exact specifications for the new Nokia 3310. Neither there are any speculations of any ‘smartphone’ like features it will sport but, we don’t have to wait for too long to find out what the renewed handset will be like.
However, the HMD Global (company which manufactures the new Nokia phones) isn’t just running a nostalgia shop. Apart, from the Nokia 3310 phone, it will also showcase other new smartphones including the Nokia 6, a smaller Nokia 5 and an even more basic Nokia 3. These are stripped-down, no frills Internet-connected devices powered by Google's Android operating system and Qualcomm's Snapdragon microchips.
