In a recent update on the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Special Court in Jaipur has adjourned the hearing till March 8.
Earlier, the court was supposed to deliver its verdict on 25th February but as the case is voluminous, the court needed more time to study all the documents submitted by prosecution and defence.
On October 11, 2007, the blast killed three people and injured over seventeen at the Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer.
According to the charge sheet which was filed earlier, several radicalised Hindus associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had been involved in the blast at the Ajmer Dargah and Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad.
Reportedly, the charge sheet includes Swami Aseemanand, Devendra Gupta, Chandrashekar Leve, Lokesh Sharma, Mukesh Vasani, Harshad, Bharat Mohanlal Ratishwar, Sandeep Dange, Ramchandra, Bhavesh Bhai Patel, Suresh Nair and Mehul.
