Narendra Modi's three-day visit to Israel is turning out to be a momentous one. In a rare honour, the Israeli chrysanthemum has been given the name 'Modi', to mark the premier's visit.

The fast growing flower symbolizes the forging of a progressive relationship between India and Israel.

The event took place at the Danziger flower farm, where PM Modi, along with Israeli PM Bejamin Netanyahu and the top brass of the Israeli administration, paid a visit.

The farm is located near Jerusalem in central Israel, and is one of the country's leading horticultural facilities. Agricultural and horticultural innovations and water management techniques of the semi-arid Jewish country are expected to assist India greatly in the days to come.
