Kelly Herron, a 36-year-old Seattle resident, took a few minutes from her jogging to attend nature’s call when she was attacked by a goon hiding behind the stalls. Kelly saved herself by using her self-defense skills and successfully fought him off.
While talking to ABC Kelly Herron said, "He immediately took me down to the ground, hit both my knees and legs, and then it was a fight on the bathroom floor and I just kept screaming, ‘Not today, motherf**r!'"
Kelly clawed the attacker’s face and continuously punched him back until he gave up. In an Instagram post by Kelly, her fitness tracker's GPS can be seen going absolutely bonkers throughout the struggle.
Kelly finally got a help of a passerby and they fended the goon off and locked him up in the bathroom until the police came.
ABC reported that Herron's attacker was identified as Gary Steiner, a 40-year-old registered sex offender in Arizona.
Steiner will now face charges of second-degree assault and attempted rape, and is being held on $750,000 bail.
