HD Revanna, who is the elder brother of Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, has denied the reports which claimed that he travelled 300 km every day on the advice of the astrologer.

It was reported that the Karnataka Public Works Minister travels 300 km daily, between Bengaluru and Holenarasipura. The reports claimed that Revanna’s astrologer had directed him against sleeping in his own house while he is a minister.

Rubbishing the reports, the minister explained that he has to travel 300 km every day to Holenarasipura (his constituency), as an official residence is not yet been allotted to him.

“Don't have any astrologer who told me this. I'm waiting for a house to be allotted that's why I am traveling this distance to work every day," the minister said.

The official residence, which is at Kumara Park West, is currently held by former Public Works Minister H C Mahadevappa. The former minister has been given three months to vacate the residence.

So, until the former minister vacates the residence, Revanna has decided to wait it out.

Revanna, who holds a firm belief in astronomy, stays on a tight schedule as he has to travel to Bengaluru every day. The minister wakes up at 5 in the morning to travel to the capital and then returns back to his constituency in midnight.
