In the city of Beppu, a spa resort on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu which is famous for its hot springs, will now be home to what could be the world’s first spa-themed amusement park.
In a promotional video, Beppu city gave us a trailer of what a Spamusement will be like. The video featured visitors at typical amusement park attractions like a carousel, ferris wheel and roller coaster but instead of seats for each ride, there were hot tubs. The video also featured mayor of Beppu Yasuhiro Nagano saying that he’ll work hard to make this fantastical idea a reality if the video hits one million views.
The video has got two million plus views till now and the mayor has announced that the work has begun. Completion date, however, has not been announced yet.
