Some movies are remembered for their dialogues while the others for its songs! And Jagga Jasoos is definitely from the latter breed! Nowadays there are hardly four to five songs in any film. If its Himmesh Reshammiya, throw in a couple more but would you believe that there would be 29 songs in a film?

Yes, that's right! Anurag Basu's ambitious project Jagga Jasoos is all set to break some records! Pritam is the music director of the film and recently confirmed the humongous number!

Pritam said, "It is an interesting musical, adventurous film." By the looks of it, it seems like a silent film sans with the songs will make up for the lack of dialogues. 29 songs have been incorporated into the narrative as they express the emotions of Kapoor's stuttering character articulately.

In an interview, Pritam quoted the example of Damien Chazelle's 2016 musical La La Land where songs seemed organically embedded in the narrative that culminated in a beautiful end product.

The movie brings together Ranbir Kapoor and his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif and despite their personal differences they plan to share the same platform while promoting the film. So this multitude of music and lyrics will come in handy for all the events.

Jagga Jasoos also stars Adah Sharma, Sayani Gupta and Saurabh Shukla. It is produced by Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor.

It is set to release on April 7th but we have quite some music to keep our gusto for the film till then!
