Indian Students In Saudi Arabia Celebrated 68th Republic Day With Patriotic Fever

Children from the International Indian School, Jeddah, sang patriotic songs and enchanted the audience.

While the whole nation was celebrating its 68th Republic Day on 26th January, there were also those who were being part of it despite being out of India. We are talking about Indian students from Saudi Arabia who celebrated Republic Day with full patriotism and zest.

International Indian School in Saudi Arabia celebrated the 68th Republic Day in the traditional Indian manner. Consul General Mohammed Noor Rahman Sheikh hoisted the national flag. The flag hoisting was followed by the singing of the national anthem and reading of the President’s address to the nation.

Over 700 people witnessed the function, which included various Indian community members. Children from the International Indian School, Jeddah, sang patriotic songs and enchanted the audience with their love for the homeland.

The event concluded with a  medley of patriotic songs: Mere Mulk, Mere Watan; Chodo Ghar Ki Baatein; Yeh Desh Hum Nau Jawano Ka and Saare Jahan Se Acha Yeh Hindustan Hamara.
