GoTopless Day is a glorious day that occurs once a year throughout the world. On this day, those who believe that women should be allowed to go topless in public legally, just as men can, unite. It was first organized by a U.S.-based organization founded in 2007 by spiritual leader Rael which claims that women have the same constitutional right that men have, to go bare-chested in public.

After the first year, the event gathered steam, appreciation and support from many quarters and from the second year onwards, men have become an integral part of the celebrations through participation by wearing bras or going topless themselves.

They even encourage breast cancer survivors to participate in the celebrations to spread awareness about the same.
