If you are a Game of Thrones fan, then you would already know that it is based on a series of novels: A Song of Ice and Fire, and you would certainly know the author, the man whom we all have to thank for this splendiferousness - George R.R. Martin.
Similarly like any other fantasy series, Game of Thrones too has a lot of details which have been changed or eliminated upon adaptation of the books into the TV series. One of the books (by George R.R. Martin) ‘The World of Ice and Fire’ had an amazing artwork depicting some of the most important locations from ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’.
And the man behind this renditions is Canadian artist Ted Nasmith who has beautifully illustrated the artwork in the book. Fans can rejoice because Nasmith published some of his artwork from ASOIAF on his website and they are just magnificent.
Check out some of his renditions:
Castle Black and The Wall
The Towers of Valyria
The Red Keep at King's Landing
Eastwatch By The Sea
The Vale of Arryn
The Horse Gate, Vaes Dothrak
The Dead Direwolf and its Pups
