Google’s New AR App Allows You To Draw White Lines In The Air

Augmented Reality is trending AF. Hence, in order to make AR more acquainted with you, search engine giant- Google has recently launched an augmented reality app named 'Just a Line' that allows you to draw white lines in the air.


Coming from Google's Creative Lab unit, they have termed this as an "AR experiment".

To make it more user-friendly, Google has even provided a demo video- 'Make simple drawings in AR with just a line'.

The demonstration shows- simple steps: Open the app, point the device's camera at something and start doodling on the screen. The video shows simple drawings like stars and fish.

Well, this app is based on Google’s Tilt Brush app which lets you paint in 3D space with virtual reality.

Tilt Brush app came with a limitation as the app would only work with the VR-compatible device. Comparatively, ‘Just a line’ is more accessible.

Here’s what you need:  A phone that supports ARCore, such as the Google Pixel 2, OnePlus 5, Zenfone AR, LG V30, or any of the latest Samsung Galaxy phones.
