‘Teaching is a work of heart’ – said a soul who got the essence of teaching, on point.

After parents, it is the teachers that shape a child’s mind by imparting education and imbibing values through it. All of us at some point of our lives were blessed with some teachers who went on to stand out because of the way they taught or the way they shaped a student or maybe even for the way the put their faith in you.

One such teacher who has gone on to become an exemplary illustration recently is Owura Kwadwo Hottish, of country Ghana.

Owura shared a post on his Facebook wall of his classroom on a regular school day. However what caught the attention was the blackboard which had something colorful drawn on it. A look closer and you would find that it is a replica of the MS Word interface!

The picture was accompanied by a caption which had Hottish explaining that it was an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) class and since there wasn’t an actual computer to teach the kids, he simply drew one on the blackboard.

Hottish says he has got to “have to do what will make them understand” for his students to get them learning. The kind of dedication exemplified made him a star not just on social media but also amongst his students and teaching fraternity.

Here's his Facebook post:
