It is not unknown that Japan is faced with a deteriorating birthrate problem. It has now come to a point where the deaths outnumber the births.
Population change has been a complicated subject in various parts of the world.
However, Japan’s population size has always been linked to the country's sexual habits and marriage by the western media. According to a study conducted by the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research in 2016, it was found that "almost 70 percent of unmarried men and 60 percent of unmarried women are not in a relationship."
The fact that people aren’t in a relationship does not mean that they abstain from companionship.

This invention of Gatebox in answer to Amazon’s Echo has all the more endangered the shrinking population rate of Japan. We can only hope that people understand the striking difference between a human and an AI.
