With Facebook's newest feature, you can surely get rid of those annoying Facebook notifications for at least 30 days.

We're not kidding! Facebook has just launched the mute or 'Snooze' feature, where you can mute notifications from a friend or a page for 30 days.

Announcing the new feature Shruthi Muraleedharan Product posted, "Over the next week, we’re launching Snooze, which will give you the option to temporarily unfollow a person, Page or group for 30 days."

To apply this feature, the user needs to select the ‘Snooze’ option from the top-right drop-down menu from a post. Once you activate it you’ll not get to see any post from that friend, page or group in your news feed for the next 30 days.

'Snooze' feature is the result of the feedback that Facebook got from some of its users.

The option is more useful and likeable to the users because it doesn’t send the notification to the people, pages or groups that they have snoozed.

Once the user selects the option it even doesn’t ask any options like unfollow or unfriend permanently.

The feature also gives you the notification before the snooze period is about to end and the setting can also be changed, anytime.
