The blonde blue eyed sisters Leila, Lily and Liena Luik from the southern Estonian university town of Tartu, took up running when they were 24. It’s been 6 years, and their hard work has paid off. They now stand to make olympic history at Rio 2016 by being the first triplet to take part in the race.
Lily stated: “After a year we had good results in Estonia and we thought we could achieve something good outside of Estonia and to do some big competitions like European Championships and the Olympic games.”

"If all three of them run together, I can easily tell them apart," said Harry Lemberg, their coach from the beginning.
"It would be great ... it's like our dream, and we know that we have to live in reality. It is very hard to compete against the Kenyan runners. We are not at the same kind of level as they are now, but in two or three years we can do that."
Hope these three pearls create a record and make history at the Rio olympics!
