Ranbir Kapoor’s Dutt Biopic Will Hit The Theatres On June 29

Apart from Ranbir, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and Sonam Kapoor are also playing pivotal roles in the film.

Finally! The release date of the most awaited film of 2018 is here. Ranbir Kapoor starrer Dutt biopic to finally release on June 29,2018.

 Director Rajkumar Hirani took his Twitter handle to announce the release date of the film.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani, the Dutt Biopic is much talked about film of 2018. The film has already garnered a lot of attention, be it for Ranbir Kapoor’s look or for Manisha Koirala’s stills who is playing Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt. 

Apparently, Sanjay Dutt himself had a close eye on the making of the film. 

Earlier while talking to Indian Express the actor said, “I was not skeptical at all. Raju, Abhijat and I sat for many, many hours and I laid the cards right out in front of them. I have nothing to hide. I’ve never had anything to hide either.”

Earlier, Ranbir while talking to media had said, “Have known Sanju sir since I was a child but when I started working on the biopic, I felt it is not a biopic but science fiction. I couldn’t understand how can anyone live a life like this. There is so much you can learn from his life. It’s not a dramatic, romantic film. It’s science fiction.”

The film also features Dia Mirza as Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and Sonam Kapoor who is playing Tina Munim.
