A driver in Carcastillo town of Navarre in Spain has tested positive for every drug test that could possibly be done on him.

The police caught the driver in Carcastillo after a neighbour phoned them informing around six people getting into a car under the influence of alcohol.

The neighbour, as it turns out, didn’t know the half of it.

After the tip off, the police stopped the driver. The passengers seem as drunk as their driver. The police tested the driver for alcohol, when they realised he had been doing more than that.

The police said that, they found high levels of cannabis, amphetamines/methamphetamine, cocaine, opiates; as well as alcohol, with a rate of 0, 60 mg/l.

Damn, sure he is still hung-over.

As per the Spanish rules, the driver was held a 1,000 euros for failing the alcohol test and another 1,000 euros for failing the drug tests. He was given six points for each infringement on his driving as well.

Which sees the driver disqualified for driving again, as 12 is the maximum number of points on a Spanish driving license.

The driver also saw his car impounded temporarily.

The test, though doesn’t mean that the driver did all the drugs at the same time, but that he had done them recently.

Different drugs take different lengths of time to get out of your system.

The driver won’t face judicial actions as the nature of offence is described as being ‘administrative’. So he will have to be brought before the Director General of Traffic.

In India, drunk driving is punishable by law with a fine of up to 10,000 and maximum 4 years of imprisonment.

Jail or no jail, drunk driving is dangerous, selfish and stupid.
