Canadian rapper Drake was seen putting a pause to his gig to yell at a fan who was groping the women around the latter.
In an after party performance, Drake screamed at the guy saying, ‘stop that shit’.
The recent #MeToo campaign has brought out many instances of sexual harassment and assault, especially in the entertainment industry which were initially overlooked and let gone off.
But it seemed like Drake was in no mood to tolerate any creepy actions while at his gig. So when he saw a fan being a jerk who went on a groping spree, Drake had to intervene and shout: "Yo, stop that shit.”
"If you don't stop touching girls, I will come out there and fuck you up.”
"I'm not playing, if you don't stop putting your hands on girls, I'm gonna come out there and fuck your ass up."
I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. He even repeated his words while the fans applauded and cheered for him. A security team member then got inside the arena with a torch to pull out the offender.
A fan, Louise Sukari who captured the incident, posted it to Instagram, captioning it as: "I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. Violence against women, 6 God says no."
Without a doubt, the post was bombed with thousands of comments, appreciating the rapper’s stand, even going on to calling him a ‘hero’ and a ‘legend’.

Love male performers who do this. Concerts are nothing but a gropefest. https://t.co/yBU4NMdme9
Interestingly, Drake had recently revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, how he had declined an opportunity to work with Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein, the accused in numerous cases of sexual assault.
The reason being the ‘bad feedback about working with him,’ which he received from a lot of people.
