The last decade hasn’t been kind to Mel Gibson. The actor/director who struck double Oscar gold with 1995’s Braveheart which netted a Best Picture Oscar as well Best Director for him, last directed Apocalypto in 2006. Since then, he has been embroiled in personal controversies that acted as dampeners for his career.

But he has been making a slow comeback, first appearing in movies like The Beaver, Get the Gringo and The Expendables 3, and now his latest directorial effort is ready to be showcased.

The trailer looks kind of incredible and with the movie set to premiere at the prestigious Venice Film Festival, let’s hope the movie stands up to the expectations.
