While the whole nation is enraged by the attack on Indian Army Brigade headquarters at Uri, an Indian online daily (The Quint) has reported that Indian special forces avenged the attack by carrying our a daring raid across terror camps in LoC. The report states that the operation was carried out by 2 Paras comprising 18-20 soldiers who flew across the LoC during the midnight of 20th September.

It is reported that raid killed at least 20 terrorists and while to total casualties could be up to 200.
Interesting to note that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) canceled all its flights to the Gilgit and Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan region in PoK and Chitral in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. This was confirmed by General Manager Public Affairs/Official Spokesperson of PIA with a tweet right after the reported incident happened. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not!
Another indication pointing to this is a tweet by a Retd. Air Marshal of Indian Air Force (name withheld). However, the tweet was later removed.
Elite Para Commandos of Indian Army already in PoK. 3 militant camps targeted. PM @narendramodi was in MO Ops room till 2230 last night. Wow
The veracity of this report is highly questionable since no other established daily was able to corroborate the story. The Quint, however, stands by it.
In light of the reactions to this article, The Quint decided to reconfirm the information from its sources. We stand by our story. - The Quint
Indian army has meanwhile denied that any such raid has happened (TOI report). Although, if such a covert operation did really happen, it will never be publicly acknowledged.
