India has a new internet sensation.
The Internet is going bonkers over the video of a middle-aged man dancing to the tunes of Bollywood songs at a wedding. The guy is trending with a hashtag saying #dancinguncle. The man is seen dancing on Govinda’s ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ from the movie ‘Khudgarz’ and he’s surely making Govinda proud.
While everyone wants to be this cool in their middle-age, his cheerful and reckless dance moves has left everyone wondering, ‘Who is this guy?’
After some fact-finding, it has been discovered that the man in the video is a professor in the electronics department at the Bhabha Engineering Research Institute, in Bhopal, named Sanjeev Shrivastava.
An assistant professor at Bhabha Engineering Research Institute, Sanjay Shukla, validated that the man in the video is Sanjeev Shukla, who is a professor at the institute since last 8 years.
Sanjeev is seen dancing alongside his wife Neelam, in a relative’s wedding in Gwalior. Sanjay also said that the professor often takes to the stage during college functions.
Aspiring to be a dancer in the eighties, Sanjeev became a dancing sensation overnight as his video performing at a wedding went viral on all social media formats. Soon after the video went viral, there were overwhelming tweets comparing him with dancing legend Govinda.
Here are some tweets that appreciated Shrivastava, as ‘best wedding performance’, ‘dancing uncle’, etc.
