Yes, a massively multiplayer online mobile strategy game named Game of Thrones: Conquest, based on the hit HBO series is slated to be released on October 19th. Watch the trailer below:
The game, developed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Turbine studio, under license from HBO, will be free to download via the Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store.
In the game, you rule as the Lord of a new house vying to take the Iron Throne. Players can take on rivals, forge alliances, raise armies, command their own small councils, and navigate Westeros’ vast political landscape. The online game also features a number of gameplay styles, including PvP battles and designing your own Westeros.
So, we’ll be ready with our wildfire while you draw up plans to take the Iron Throne.
The developer of the game, Turbine studio, has developed a number of prominent games including The Lord of the Rings Online and most recently Batman: Arkham underworld. The studio is also best known for its work on the original MMORPG Asheron’s Call in 1999.
