In the aftermath of demonetisation, there was an outcry of making India 'digital'. The reasoning behind this was that when European countries demonetise their currency, they already have a large part of it completely digitised and consequently don't have to face much problems.
In the video below, we bring you an village in Gujrat which has been completely digitised, with cashless transactions processed through mobile apps and the whole village being under WiFi coverage. It comes as a surprise since one would expect an urban area to be able to accomplish it first but this just goes to show us how technology can drastically change our lives no matter where we live.
