The members of Yancheng Safari Park in east China’s Changzhou city took a cruel step just after a boardroom fight that went south. The shareholders were protesting against the zoo management after a fight during a boardroom meeting.
Just after the fight, the zoo shareholders pushed the donkey into the tiger enclosure.
CGTN, a Beijing-based English news channel, shared photographs of the donkey falling into a moat in the tiger’s pit and then being attacked by two tigers on Facebook.

The video and the pictures of the incident went viral on social media and attracted criticism towards the zoo.
The donkey was attacked by the tigers and struggled for 30 minutes before dying. Onlookers were heard shouting in protest. In a gesture to reciprocate their regret, the Chinese zoo has erected a monument in the memory of the donkey.
