The first full trailer for the Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has hit the net and it has immediately painted the movie as the most unique Star Wars ever put on celluloid.
The movie has a very gritty and rugged aesthetic, much more reminiscent of a war movie rather than a soap opera in the Star Wars saga. It follows a group of rebels as they attempt to steal the masterplans for the Death Star and is set before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Felicity Jones looks to have completely embraced her character as she looks all manners of badass and convincingly so.
The movie is chock-full of talent both behind and front of the camera, with Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) directing a cast of stalwarts like Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen as well as Riz Ahmed and Diego Luna.
And of course, there's also the evil incarnate Darth Vader, making an appearance at the end.
