Anne Frank once said - “Noone gets poor by giving”. This is exactly what you will feel when you get out of Seva Cafe with your tummy full and heart, satisfied.
Running on a basic principle - ‘peer to peer generosity’, this cafe in Ahmedabad runs in a unique way.
Here, the meals are cooked by volunteers, served by volunteers and at the end of the meal, the guests only pay what they feel like.

The bill given at the end reads Rs 0 with only and a note which says: "Your meal was a gift from someone who came before you. To keep the chain of gifts alive, we invite you to pay it forward for those dine after you."

With the figures displayed on the notice board, the accounts are fully transparent in this cafe. Also, 100% of any profits earned, are used to support social service projects.
