Butterbeer, for those who have still not ventured into the Harry Potter Universe, is one of the Wizarding world's most favoured beverages.
Somewhat like butterscotch, but without the sickly sweetness, and a slight kick that can be too much for elves and children, butterbeer from the Harry Potter canon has inspired enthusiasts around the world to come up with their own recipes.
Yuengling's, a US based premium ice cream company, has sourced some of the magic from this universe to create a butterbeer-flavoured ice cream.
While butterbeer flavoured ice cream is available in the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood, Florida and London, it is the first time it has been introduced to wider markets.
It has been described as half buttercream ice cream and half butterscotch ice cream, and "twisted with a butterscotch swirl." The folks at Yuengling's said that they hoped JK Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter, would approve of this dessert.
And we are sure, with the heavenly taste of (most recipes of) butterbeer, this ice cream will also be lapped up, quite literally, by aspiring wizards and Muggles alike!
