Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar and others from the Hindi film industry took to Twitter to troll the big Oscars goof up.

"OMG! Did that just happen?" "This is nothing but plain embarrassment." These were some of the reactions when people came to know that presenter Warren Betty wrongly declared La La Land as the Best Picture instead of Moonlight at the 89th Academy Awards. This embarrassing moment went straight on the top of the list of major goof ups in the history of live television.

While social media was abuzz with hilarious trolls and memes, Bollywood biggies were not far behind. They took to Twitter to mock down the Academy awards. Some even compared the award ceremonies in the west to the Indian award ceremonies.

Here are some of the unintentionally hilarious tweets:

Out of the lot, director-choreographer Farah Khan was the sane one and tweeted the most sensible thing.

Fair enough, right?! Still not getting what Farah is trying to say?
