From beautifully dressing up the Barbie doll to tapping your feet on the Barbie song, Barbie has been always associated with almost every girl’s childhood. While a girl always fantasized to be like a Barbie, with handsome Ken standing next, the manufacturer of Barbie has now planned to team Barbie doll with another Barbie doll.
As seen in the picture is a Barbie teamed up with her girlfriend. Both are seen sporting a T-shirt with the pro-marriage equality slogan “Love Wins”; the shirt depicts the lyrics of the song “Love Wins”.
Well, this is not the first time for Matel to come up with such a different approach; previously as well the manufacturers have gone ahead of their own constructed hypothetical body shape.
In the recent update, a Barbie has been seen with buxom busts, curvy hips, and plump stomachs; apart from this, a range of these dolls had hormonal acne and stretch marks. And recently we also saw our favourite doll wearing a Hijab.

As the world is talking openly about LGBT and Matel been receptive towards the norms of progressive world, how could a huge manufacturer keep itself away from it?
Talking about Barbie’s new companion, senior vice-president and Barbie's global general manager, Evelyn Mazzocco said,
We are excited to literally be changing the face of the brand – these new dolls represent a line that is more reflective of the world girls see around them – the variety in body type, skin tones and style allows girls to find a doll that speaks to them. We believe we have a responsibility to girls and parents to reflect a broader view of beauty.
In any form and every shape, Barbie has always been a great admirer of all time and this time the audacious Barbie has won our heart all over again.
