Adding another feather to director SS Rajamouli’s cap, his epic saga Baahubali: The Conclusion has been selected as the opening film at Russia’s Moscow International Film Festival.

Ever since the film has released it is making headlines- the record-breaking saga had grossed Rs 508.78 crores in India and is now giving us reasons to be proud on an international platform.

Rajamouli is extremely excited about the news, and the director had taken off to Russia to attend the event.

The Baahubali series created a huge craze among people all over the world. Both the instalments of this magnum opus are remarkable and with every passing day, Baahubali 2 is breaking its own records.

The film, starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati had collected a total of Rs 1517 crores worldwide within 22 days.

Surprisingly, this is the first time Russian audiences demanded that an Indian film’s shows were extended.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 actor Prabhas has become the first South Indian actor to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds’ Malaysia edition.
