We love Atif Aslam and now he has given us another reason to do so!
The Pehli Nazar Mein hitmaker brought his concert to a halt to rescue a female fan, who was being harassed by some guys during his show in Karachi on Saturday.
The concert began smoothly but suddenly Atif, stopped midway during his performance, motioned his hand and asked the musicians to stop playing when he noticed a group of men bothering a girl in the front row. He went up to them and sternly asked the boys not to harass the girl. "TUMNE KABHI LADKI NAHI DEKHI HAI? " (Haven't you seen a girl?).
An irate Atif, scolded the unruly boys, "TUMHARI MAA BEHEN BHI HO SAKTI HAI YAHAN PAR." (Your mother or sister could be here as well) he added.
He then pulled up the girl on the stage and asked concert organizers to get her a place somewhere else. He finally reprimanded the gang "Insaan ka baccha ban (act like a human being)"
After the incident, the star reportedly made sure all the girls in the audience were safe before resuming his performance at the DHA Sports Club.
The crowd was blown away by the artist's spontaneous and vigilant action and chants of 'Atif! Atif!' roared in the stadium as he began to sing again.
This noble gesture by a celebrity shows how socially responsible stars can be, only if they pledge to it!
