Alia Bhatt Has a Dream Hollywood Role But her Cliched Choice is Too Obvious and Disappointing!

In spite of playing strong empowered roles in Udta Punjab, Alia has the heart of a teenage girl and wishes to star in films like The Devil Wears Prada.

She entered Bollywood as a Star kid, in the most flashy fashion possible. Best of dresses, scenic locales, another star kid as a co-star in a romantic film that was made by the 'flagbearer of nepotism' Karan Johar!

Could it be any more dreamy?

So as we would like to believe that she would that she would want to be in the remake of The Princess Diaries but that isn't the case.

Ironically enough, Alia Bhatt wants to play another Anne Hathaway role, that of the clumsy yet gorgeous, struggling with her passion,  wanting to make it big in fashion, Andy from The Devil Wears Prada!

In an interview to Scoopwhoop, when asked about one Hollywood role that she would like to play in Bollywood, the actress was very excited and said "I would love to be a part of a Bollywood adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada. And if it ever gets made, I would love to have Karan Johar direct the film."

Now we don't doubt that she will do her job with flair as she has already proved her mettle with Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi, but isn't it a very cliched choice?

We just wonder which actors will play other key roles. What are your picks for the Devil who wears the Prada in India? Do you see the loud Kirron Kher as Miranda Priestly or the subtle Shehnaz Patel as the fashionista?

Now, Alia has done some really meaty roles with quite some intensity especially in Highway and this wish seems to come from a typical 20 something girl in showbiz.

Nonetheless, we are sure if the movie comes along eventually, it will definitely be stellar.
