According to reports, as Jai’s collar malfunctioned for the second time, his satellite location has been untraceable too. It has been more than three months that this huge, radio-collared tiger has not been sighted in and around Umred Karhandla.

This is sad news for wildlife lovers, who have now taken a stand to find out Jai and have also requested the Forest Department to deploy STPF staff from Pench Tiger Reserve and SRPF staff, in territorial divisions of Umred and Nagpur. Similar activity is to be undertaken in Brahmapuri territorial division too.
