Yang Liu is a designer who has lived in China, Germany, Britain and the USA. She expresses herself through minimalistic pictograms - images which sharply contrast two ideas, philosophies, or subjects.
Her book Man Meets Woman is a collection of such pictograms, which show the artist’s impressions about gender roles and expectations in the personal, professional and societal spheres.
Here are some striking samples from this book, which make you wonder if, for all the debate around us, have things inherently changed?
Thought-provoking, aren’t they?
