The latest Mannequin Challenge has taken the internet by storm. Lots of celebrities around the world are following in on this sensation with great gusto. The recent addition in this challenge was the commentary team of India versus England cricket test series. As one would think, commentating for hours on a long and tiring test match can be tedious. Well, the commentary team knew exactly what to do when they get bored. The commentary panel comprising of legends such as Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri, Ian Botham, Sanjay Manjrekar, L Sivaramakrishnan and Michael Atherton took part in this challenge and created a remarkable video.
What exactly is the Mannequin Challenge and where did it originate from?
Well, the Mannequin challenge is the latest sensation which went viral around the globe after some high school kids from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida created a video where they stood motionless for about 45 seconds. This highly unusual but pretty intriguing concept caught the eye of many people around the world. However the reason behind the following of this challenge is unclear as many believe this is not for a noble cause but still it is one of the most amusing things to watch.
There is a wide list of people consisting of Celebrities, Politicians and Sportsmen who participated in this challenge and executed this to great perfection. USA’s presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had tweeted a video from her aircraft which included rock star Bon Jovi holding a guitar where they stood motionless for a minute or so.
Michelle Obama along with Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team members also accepted this challenge and created a funny Mannequin video.
It only remains to be seen how soon this concept catches up with Indian celebrities and they entertain us with their charm.
